  • Idiopathic
  • Contains clear fluid similar to synovial fluid
  • Most common soft tissue tumor of the hands and wrists
    • Most common at scapho-lunate joint dorsally
  • More common in women
    • 20-50 years of age
    • Contain highly viscous mucin
